Russia and China have voiced worries about the planned deployment of an advanced US missile system to the Korean Peninsula, saying that such a move poses a threat to security in the already tense region. In a statement released on Friday, Russia’s Foreign Ministry said Moscow and Beijing share a “mutual serious concern” over the deployment of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) missile system in the South Korean territory. Russia and China believe that such actions by the US and South Korea “can inflict serious damage on the strategic security of neighboring countries … and will further complicate the situation on the Korean Peninsula,” the statement added.
Turkey has the right to carry out military operations not only in Syria, but in any other country, which is hosting terror groups that threaten the Turkish state, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said. TrendsSyria-Turkey“Turkey has every right to conduct operations in Syria and the places where terror organizations are nested with regards to the struggle against the threats that Turkey faces,” Erdogan was cited as saying by the Hurriyet newspaper.
As should be known by now, the opposition groups, including the FSA, Al Nusra and ISIS, who invaded Syria and are trying to destroy that nation, are convenient creations of the West, particularly the U.S. Remember Scott Ritter, the UN Inspector who said the war in Iraq was based on the lie of weapons of mass destruction? In Dec. 2014 he chimed in about what’s going on in Syria:
A vocal critic of the 2003 invasion of Iraq, [Scott] Ritter has resumed his trenchant writing on U.S. policy in the Middle East: He has authored at least three online articles for Huffington Post since October, including one warning that the creation of a U.S.-backed “Free Syrian Army” represents a “figment of American creative thinking.”Ritter, 53, was an intelligence officer in the Marine Corps and then a weapons inspector for the U.N.
Threat of War: Russia Gets Very Serious on “De-dollarizing”. The Russia-China “Silk Road” Strategy | Global Research
Russia is about to take another major step towards liberating the Ruble from the Dollar System. Its Finance Ministry just revealed it is considering issuing Russian state debt in Chinese Yuan. That would be an elegant way to decouple from the dependence and blackmail pressures from the US Treasury financial terrorism operations while at the same time strengthening the bonds between China and Russia–Washington’s worst geopolitical nightmare.
Russian Deputy Minister of Finance, Sergei Storchak, announced that his ministry is making a careful study of what would be required to issue Russian bonds denominated in Chinese Yuan. The latest news is part of a long-term strategy between Russia and China that goes at the heart of American hegemony—the role of the dollar as the leading world central bank reserve currency.
The dollar is used in some 60% of central bank reserves today. The second largest is the Euro. Now clearly China is carefully moving, as the world’s largest trading nation, to create its Renminbi or Chinese Yuan as another major reserve currency.
WW3 Alert: Gwenyth Todd and the U.S. Attempt to Start War With Iran Under Bush – The Washington Post
Gwenyth Todd had worked in a lot of places in Washington where powerful men didn’t hesitate to use sharp elbows. She had been a Middle East expert for the National Security Council in the Clinton administration. She had worked in the office of Defense Secretary Dick Cheney in the first Bush administration, where neoconservative hawks first began planning to overthrow Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein. But she was not prepared a few years later in Bahrain when she encountered plans by high-ranking admirals to confront Iran, any one of which, she reckoned, could set the region on fire.
It was 2007, and Todd, then 42, was a top political adviser to the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet. Previous 5th Fleet commanders had resisted various ploys by Bush administration hawks to threaten the Tehran regime. But in spring 2007, a new commander arrived with an ambitious program to show the Iranians who was boss in the Persian Gulf.
Julian Assange has given an interview to an Argentinian paper from his Ecuadorian embassy asylum where he spent more than 1,000 days. He spoke about why US meddling in Ukraine led to civil war, how the West helped ISIS and Israel supported Hamas.
US has long wanted to bring Ukraine to West
The United States has spent “a lot of time trying to bring Ukraine to the West,” the WikiLeaks founder said in an interview to Pagina/12, Argentinian newspaper on Monday.
“If it cannot be with a NATO membership, at least it becomes independent from Moscow’s sphere of influence, to reduce Russian industrial-military complex and its naval bases in Crimea.”
The Russian military has deployed jets to ward off a US destroyer in the Black Sea after it was found heading into Russia’s territorial waters, according to several Russian media outlets. The US Navy destroyer USS Ross was reportedly heading in the direction of Russian waters Saturday after leaving the Romanian port of Costanta, when Su-24 aircraft were scrambled to head off the warship.
