5 Hezbollah Terrorists and Iranian General Killed in Israeli Airstrike; Northern Front on High Alert | Jewish Voice NY
Thousands of angry apologists of terror staged an incendiary march on Monday, Jan 19, in southern Beirut in a funeral procession for Jihad Mughniyeh, the son of Imad Mughniyeh, who was killed along with five other members of Hezbollah in an Israeli airstrike on Sunday near Quneitra on the Syria-controlled side of the Golan Heights.
While beating their chests in fury and raucously chanting “Death to Israel” the marchers praised Mughniyeh, 25, who was the the head of Hezbollah’s Golan Heights operations. His father Imad Mughniyeh was a top Hezbollah operative who was credited with building Hezbollah’s military operations infrastructure and the second most revered figure inside the Shiite terrorist group, according to an AP report. Hezbollah has previously accused Israel’s secret service agency for assassinating the elder Mughniyeh in a 2008 bombing in Damascus.
