A senior advisor to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says the United Nations must identify countries that support terrorists such as ISIL Takfiri militants in the region.
In a meeting with UN special envoy to Iraq, Nickolay Mladenov, in Tehran on Sunday,
added that the world body must act on developments in Iraq accurately and properly.
“This is the responsibility of the United Nations to move to identify countries that support terrorists and ISIL in the region, because if they are not supported from outside the Iraqi border, they will be defeated by the country’s nation and army,” the top Iranian official said.
He noted that certain regional and Western countries have created ISIL and some other terrorist groups, emphasizing that the UN should play a more serious role in the fight against terrorism.

JERUSALEM (AFP) — Hundreds of left-wing Israelis demonstrated Saturday night in Jerusalem against a controversial draft law enshrining Israel as a “Jewish state.”The rally was organized by Israel’s Peace Now settlement watchdog and held across the street from the residence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.Peace Now said the rally was “an opportunity to let the democratic camp’s voice be heard” against the draft law, which embodied “nationalism, racism, and aggression” threatening to “ruin our country.”
Suicide bombers followed up by gunmen have killed at least 120 people and wounded 270 others in a mosque, which was the place of worship of Nigeria’s top anti-Boko Haram cleric.
The bombers and gunmen attacked the Grand Mosque in Kano during Friday prayers. A rescue official provided AFP with the number of those killed and injured.
Emmanuel Ojukwu, a national police spokesman, told AFP that the suicide bombers blew themselves up in quick succession and gunmen then “opened fire on those who were trying to escape.”

HEBRON, November 10, 2014 – (WAFA) – Israeli authorities Monday announced its decision to seize large tracts of land to the north of Hebron, under the pretext of ‘urgent security reasons’, said local sources.
The notice, issued by the ‘Hebron Israeli Forces Commander’, stated that forces would seize tracts of land located in Jabal Abu Suda, Freidis and Wadi al-‘Arub areas to the north of Hebron for ‘urgent military purposes’.
