Though the title sounds ominous, the reality in our world is that often, our own government needs a big, bad guy or rogue group or nation to force us to voluntarily submit to its authority. Sometimes, the government will enter into a secret alliance as a Requester with another government (Provider) in order to have that Provider country attack the Requester country to create artificial hostilities. In doing so, the Requester government partners with its country’s mainstream news media (classic Propaganda) to disseminate controlled panic and evoke the expected response like a Pavlov dog experiment. Often, this pattern of propaganda is realized in the form of a false flag operation.

Briefly, the concept of the false flag operation comes from naval warfare where regular commercial merchant ships were secretly outfitted with weapons in a way that was undetected by the enemy when cruising in international waters or enemy waters. Over 100 years ago, nations honored commercial ships that displayed a recognized merchant ship flag and thus they did not attack them during war. However, some nations took advantage of international law by outfitting commercial ships to carry weapons, or by completely converting merchant ships into war ships but still bearing a universally recognized merchant ship flag. When such ships got close to enemy ships that abided by international law, the covert ships would attack and sink the unsuspecting enemy ships. Because the merchant ship was really a war ship but displayed the flag of a merchant ship under false pretenses, this kind of operation became known as a false flag.

So how does that apply to today?

Recall that one of the things exposed by the NSA leak scandal is that the U.S. and Britain were using their embassies as spy stations. Generally, embassies are universally recognized as facilities by which nations engage each other in diplomatic relations and various kinds of international dialog. In the case of Benghazi, Libya, not only was it used for surveillance, but also for allegedly running guns to Syria and other regional hotspots. These, too, are false flag operations as the expected purpose of embassies was undermined by their real purpose. Many argue, quite effectively, that the 9/11 attacks on New York were a series of false flag operations. The JFK assassination has all the hallmarks of a false flag on several levels, with Lee Harvey Oswald being a fall guy for (a) undercover American intelligence agents posing as Cuban operatives so that blame can be laid on pro-Castro groups and (b) the mafia in cahoots with corrupt police and military intelligence operatives. The more false flag enemies are involved, the easier to mask the true brains behind the operation, but there’s a point at which too much complexity in the false flag operation can lead to multiple points of failure, thus risking exposing the top leaders.

Now how can you, as an average citizen, parse the true news behind the propaganda you see on TV or read on your computers/smartphones? When you see your leaders warning about a threat of enemy action if you don’t respond the way they want you to, then carefully review the threat being announced. Let’s look at some examples.

On September 3, 2013, the local CBS station in Charlotte, S.C., reported the following quote from Sen. Lindsey Graham:

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (CBS Charlotte/AP) — South Carolina U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham says he’s convinced that Syrian President Assad used chemical weapons on his own people. Graham told reporters in Goose Creek on Tuesday that taking action against Syria in response to the situation is not a question of yes or no, but rather a question of bad or worse choices. He says if there is no U.S. response, Iran will not believe America’s resolve to block Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Graham also says those nuclear weapons in the hands of terrorists could result in a bomb coming to Charleston Harbor.

Note the words in boldface. In Graham’s quote are two enemies: Syria and Iran. Now examine the “if” condition: If we (U.S.) don’t respond, Iran will give nuclear weapons to “terrorists” (too vague to know exactly what group he’s referring to, but when in doubt, they usually mean Al Qaeda by default as that’s what we’re conditioned to assume). The false flag comes into play in this context because, with Graham being vague about “terrorists,” any group in the world can be conjured up as the bad guy group. The leaders of false flag operations know that 99% of Americans will not travel to investigate if these groups really exist, so what can happen in this case is that a terrorist cell out of Benghazi can be given dirty bombs (or worse) and flown to Gitmo, for instance, and sail a boat full of nukes to South Carolina where Graham is senator (see how convenient that is?). Before the boat gets too close, we can reasonably assume the Coast Guard will intercept them and notify Homeland Security, who will then have a joint press conference with Sen. Graham. Graham will then be able to say, “See, I told you so.”

Israel’s recent “warnings” about Iran can also be viewed as a potential false flag operation. Let’s look at some quotes from Israeli leaders as posted on our TWIN news blog (“Not All Israeli Leaders Against Iran Deal”):

Economics Minister Naftali Bennett warned: “If in another five or six years, a nuclear suitcase explodes in New York or Madrid, it will be because of this agreement. Even the cabinet’s most moderate voice, Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, said: ‘It is a terrible agreement that threatens not only Israel but the entire world.’

Again, as you can see from the boldface words, there are three threat targets listed: New York, Madrid, the entire world. The weapon of choice for the two cities is a nuclear suitcase. The enemy is Iran. Keep in mind that Iran has not engaged in military hostilities since the 1700s, though it has been accused of sponsoring terrorism in the past. With the new peace deal taking shape between Iran, the West and Russia, China, these “if” threats could potentially signal that, if pushed, Mossad might run a false flag operation to make Israel’s threat a reality, thereby forcing us to “voluntarily” attack Iran. We hope it does not come to that, and that cooler heads prevail in Israel.
